The Future is Solar: Panaji Set to Become a Solar City by 2025 year.

Goa's capital city looks poised to take an important step towards a sustainable future. Panaji will become become a solar city in just two years, according to an announcement made by the Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA). The move is in line with the National Solar Mission, which aims to promote the use of solar energy across the country.

As part of the initiative, all government and private buildings in Panaji will be required to install solar panels. The Plan will be implemented in a phased manner over the next two years. Once completed, the solar power generated in Panaji will be connected to the state grid and will be used to power households and commercial establishments in the city. This project will not only reduce the city's dependence on fossil fuels but also help in reducing carbon emissions, making Panaji a greener city.

At Living Luxury Real Estate, we believe that luxury and sustainability go hand in hand. These policies from Goa's government are important in protecting and growing real estate asset values across the state. "The state government has plans to install solar panels on rooftops of private as well as government buildings," said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. "The Goa government has set a goal of achieving 100% renewable energy usage across all sectors in the state by 2050."
